Manage tiers
Important
The following actions can be performed only by users assigned the Admin role.
This tutorial describes how to manage tiers to apply varying commission rates to different markets based on specified traded volumes.
Note
Tier fees have a lower priority than custom commissions assigned to a user group.
Tier fees can be disabled for a specific market if special market fees apply to it.

Manage tier groups
Add a new tier group
To add a new tier group, proceed as follows:
Navigate to Commissions > Tiers in the Admin Panel main menu.
Click the plus button located near the tier group selector displayed at the top of the screen.
In the Add group dialog that is invoked, specify the tier group description.
Click Proceed to create a new tier group.
Update the tier group description
To change the tier group description, proceed as follows:
Navigate to Commissions > Tiers in the Admin Panel main menu.
Select a tier group in the tier group selector displayed at the top of the screen.
Click the gear icon located near the tier group selector.
In the menu that is invoked, click Edit group.
In the Edit group dialog that is invoked, specify the new group description and click Proceed to apply the changes.
Delete a tier group
To delete a tier group, proceed as follows:
Navigate to Commissions > Tiers in the Admin Panel main menu.
Select a tier group in the tier group selector displayed at the top of the screen.
Click the gear icon located near the tier group selector.
In the menu that is invoked, click Delete group.
In the dialog that is invoked, confirm removal by clicking Delete.
Manage tier group markets
Add a market to a tier group
To include a new market into a tier group, proceed as follows:
Navigate to Commissions > Tiers in the Admin Panel main menu.
Select a tier group in the tier group selector displayed at the top of the screen.
Click the Add Market button located under the tier group selector.
In the dialog that is invoked, select the required market and click Proceed.
Remove a market from a tier group
To exclude a market from a tier group, proceed as follows:
Navigate to Commissions > Tiers in the Admin Panel main menu.
Select a tier group in the tier group selector displayed at the top of the screen.
Locate the required market among the market tiles displayed under the tier group selector. You can use the quick search to find a market by its name (for example, LTC/BTC).
Click the cross icon displayed on the market tile.
In the dialog that is invoked, confirm removal by clicking Delete.
Manage tiers within a tier group
Add a tier to a tier group
To add a new tier to a tier group, proceed as follows:
Navigate to Commissions > Tiers in the Admin Panel main menu.
Select a tier group in the tier group selector located at the top of the screen.
Click the Add Tier button located under the section displaying tier group markets.
In the Add Tier dialog that is invoked, specify the following fields:
Description — specifies the tier description
30d Volume Level — specifies the minimum asset volume to be traded within 30-day period for special maker and taker fees to be applied to a trade
Volume Currency (read-only) — indicates the currency in which the traded volume is calculated (typically, this is the platform root asset)
Maker Fee — defines the commission rate applied to market makers providing liquidity to the exchange upon trading the specified asset volume
Taker Fee — defines the commission rate applied to market takers diminishing liquidity of the exchange upon trading the specified asset volume
Group ID — indicates the tier group to which the new tier is to be added
Click Proceed to introduce the tier.
Note
The values indicating maker and taker fees are normalized to 0–1 range (for example, 0.05 indicates a fee of 5%). A fee of 5% is considered substantial and may be detrimental to business.
Remove a tier from a tier group
To remove a tier from a tier group, proceed as follows:
Navigate to Commissions > Tiers in the Admin Panel main menu.
Select a tier group in the tier group selector located at the top of the screen.
Select a tier in the tier list and click the basket icon displayed in a corresponding row.
In the dialog that is invoked, confirm removal by clicking Delete.
