Manage general market commissions
This operation can be performed only by users assigned the Admin role.
To configure commission rates applied to a specific market, proceed as follows:
Navigate to Settings > Markets in the Admin Panel main menu.
Locate a required market in the list. You can use the search panel to find a specific market by its name (for example, LTC/BTC).
Select the market in the list and click the gear icon displayed on the right side of a corresponding row.
In the dialog window that is invoked, turn off the Disable tier fees option and specify the following fields:
Maker Fee — defines the commission rate applied to market makers providing liquidity to the market
Taker Fee — defines the commission rate applied to market takers diminishing liquidity of the market
Click Proceed to apply the changes and close the dialog window.
The values indicating maker and taker fees are normalized to 0–1 range (for example, 0.05 indicates a fee of 5%). A fee of 5% is considered substantial and may be detrimental to business.
As an alternative to flat market commission rates, you can specify variable fees based on traded asset volumes, as well as custom fees applied to specific users. To learn more about the available commission settings, see Managing commissions.
